During the drought period of 2012-13, the Kuber Group and the entire Jain community of Mumbai, inspired by Padma Vibhushan Acharya Bhagwant Shrimad Vijay Ratna Sunder Surishwar Ji
Maharaja, established a "Chara Chavani" (fodder camp) to shelter and provide food and water for over 12,000 animals. This initiative received widespread praise across Maharashtra and India.
